This one day course has now taken place – but if you want to come along any Wednesday night you will be made welcome
You may have missed your chance on the X Factor, or The Choir, but now’s your chance to learn to sing, or to improve your singing, with a one-day course presented by one of the region’s leading male singing groups.
The Grand Central Chorus, based in Long Eaton (M1 Jn25), is presenting “Learn To Sing In A Day” to give local men the chance to experience harmony singing.

Perhaps you have experienced a male voice choir but want to learn to sing in a different style. You can sing harmony with our one day course on Sunday 17 January, from 10 am to 4 pm. Some understanding of music is helpful, but not essential, and you do need to be able to sing in tune but the ability to read music isn’t necessary.
If you are a lapsed singer who hasn’t sung for many years, this is the ideal opportunity to rediscover your voice and enjoy the unique experience of harmony singing. If you have never been part of a singing group but think you have the ability and want to learn to sing better, you are very welcome to come along – we can help you develop your voice and confidence.
So if you want to “do something different” on Sunday 17 January, learn to sing and perhaps go on to join the Grand Central Chorus, you need to be at
Wilsthorpe School, Derby Road, Long Eaton NG10 4BJ (5 mins M1, Jn 25)
